I saw it today. It was alright. They took it in the direction I felt they should have. Green Hornet getting the fame despite bumbling through fights for the most part. Kato being walking devastation.
I saw 3 Bruce Lee references. One was obvious (Kato drew a picture of Bruce Lee). The other two were fairly subtle (a 1 inch punch and him being "Too fast for the camera.")

I liked it, found it extremely amusing, though it's to be expected when you let a solid comedic actor write his own script... if someone else had written it and Rogan had still starred, it would have been far worse.
I caught the drawing, and the one inch punch... though I didn't know the "too fast for the camera" thing was a Bruce Lee reference as well. Is that something that he said? After I saw the movie, I went home and stumbled upon a video of Bruce Lee's screen test for Kato way back when, and it's incredible. He does a small martial arts display, and it's honestly tough to see everything he does as he does it. He's so fast the sound comes about a second after each movement as well, which is hilarious.
"Where the fuck is my LEAF!?!" is the best line in the whole movie, in my opinion.

It was a reference the Director told Bruce Lee. He actually had to slow down his attacks so the camera could pick them up.
